Refrigeration Rigid Polyurethane
Rigid polyurethane materials for refrigerators
For about three decades, rigid polyurethane foam has been used in the refrigeration industry, which includes the production of refrigerators and freezers in both the domestic and industrial sectors. Controlled production techniques and continuous improvement of polyurethane raw materials mean that today refrigerators and freezers are essentially insulated only with rigid polyurethane foam. The excellent thermal conductivity values of polyurethane result in very low energy consumption in these devices and, in addition to energy savings for the customer, the highly efficient insulation allows the manufacturer to use a smaller and less expensive compressor for refrigeration. The advantages that rigid polyurethane foams provide for these devices are due to the combination of cellular gases and fine foams with a closed-cell structure that helps prevent heat transfer. This foam also acts as a structural adhesive to bond the inner and outer liners of the refrigerator during the foaming process, providing structural strength to the device.
In the domestic and industrial sectors, polyurethane Razin foam is used in the production of various refrigerators and freezers.
Polyurethane Razin Company offers a variety of polyols in different grades in the rigid refrigeration grade section for use in a variety of applications as follows
